Brian joined Metro in October 2010 and was selected as Chief Financial Officer in October 2019. He has 25 years of experience in the public sector, including working as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Hillsboro. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University and a Master of Public Administration from Portland State University. Brian is the 2024-25 President of the Oregon Government Finance Officers Association and is also part of the faculty at Portland State University as an adjunct instructor in the Master of Public Administration program.
